Before configuring ZoneAlarm, you will have to set your network settings to use our DNS server.

This is done through the Network Connections Control Panel.

The ThreatSTOP DNS server is 24.249.204.58.

Configure ZoneAlarm

Open the ZoneAlarm Control Panel and go to the Firewall panel. Click on the tab named "Expert."

First you will configure a set of lookups:

Then you will configure inbound and outbound  block rules:

You should now see 2 additional rules. One to block incoming traffic, and another to block outgoing traffic.

That's all it takes. Your computer is now protected with lists that update as we change the TTL.
