Management Team
Tom Clancy - Chairman & CEO
Tom has over twenty five years of experience building leading-edge software products and services. He began his career in new product development positions with Magnavox Research Laboratories, Citicorp, BIM Systems and Expersoft Corporation. As a venture capital partner in the late '90s he was responsible for the formation and funding of Stamps.com, Ipivot, Tradebeam, Active.com, Breach Security, NetSift, and Paraccel.
Tom Byrnes - CTO & Founder
Tom has held technical leadership positions in both civilian and military (US Army Signal Corps) capacities in all areas of Information Technology. He has worked for manufacturers (Radware ), VARs (Datatech and others), and distributors (Vitek). He was also CTO of an ISP and e-commerce hosting company (ADNC.com ) and Sr. VP of Technology of Zero Gravity Internet Group (a mutual and venture fund that provided the initial financing to Oingo, now part of Google Adwords/Adsense). Tom has been involved in the Internet and related technologies since he first logged on to ESANET in 1981.
Boris Veksler - VP Engineering and Operations
Boris joined ThreatSTOP from TradeBeam where he was VP of Engineering and IT, responsible for building and operating global trade management system for clients including Johnson Controls, Neiman Marcus and Tyco. Prior to Tradebeam, Boris served as VP of Engineering at Struxicon where he was responsible for building a supply chain management system for the real estate and construction industries. Boris has over 15 years of experience in project management, software development and consulting engineering. He received his M.B.A. from the Anderson School at UCLA, and an M.S. and B.S. in Structural Analysis and Mathematics/Computer Science from St. Petersburg Technical University.
Tim Lee-Thorp - VP MarketingTim has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, product management and business development. After starting his career as an engineer, Tim served as group manager of distributed systems at Network General Corporation before becoming the first marketing staff member at Remedy Corporation. There he served as PLM, manager of business development and as “corporate evangelist” through a successful IPO. Tim then served as VP of Marketing at Picazo Communications (acquired by Intel) and at Filanet (acquired by F5), and as Director of eBusiness Solutions at Nortel Networks. He also served as VP of Marketing at Routescience Technologies (acquired by Avaya), Mistletoe Technologies and Sendio. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science with Honors from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. |
